BREAKING NEWS: THE U.S DEATH ROLL FROM CORONA VIRUS TOPPED 100,000

                       

The U.S. death toll from coronavirus topped 100,000 on Wednesday, a startling milestone just four months after the country's first case was confirmed. 

It remains the highest death toll from the virus in the world and surpasses the U.S. military combat fatalities suffered in every conflict since the Korean War. 

Johns Hopkins University said there were at least 100,047 American deaths from coronavirus as of Wednesday evening. The figure is more than double the deaths in any other country.

Some years ago, one of my brothers told me his experience while spending the night at his friends place and it just stock with me, he said they went out had drinks and just generally enjoyed themselves, talked about business, politics and of course girls but my brother kept asking him how come you are so successful in business and practically anything you set your heart to do, abi you dey rub something somewhere "laughing" his friend replied "No worry guy you go soon know" . That night he kept hearing some funny noises coming from his friends room, he decided to take a peep through the door knob to see what exactly was going on and whole and behold, his friend was.......PRAYING and this went on for almost 3hrs Wow!!! Shock is not even enough to comprehend what he felt, ehhh!! So this guy can even pray, talk more of praying that long, rolling on the floor, sweating ah!!! And then when its morning he dresses up, smelling nice, stepping into his nice car and you are biting your lips saying...Chei!! see fine boy!!!

Recently, i had a conversation with a really close friend and my one question to her was....Ore!! how come most ladies in Nigeria especially those that live in Lagos, all have the same complexion and body structure? Why do they all want to live a certain kind of life style but don't want to work for it? Why is dating married men now the new norm and they even boast about it? Why are they so consumed with the thought of acquiring material wealth without considering the pains they inflict and homes they break? etc

Thus, people see this desperation's and take advantage of it offering them QUICK SPIRITUAL SOLUTIONS aka KAYAMATA!!!!

There was a time when people would cover their faces, wear disguising cloths and travel all the way to some dilapidated, scary looking building to see one baba who they feel could solve their problems but now the JUJU or JAZZ is well packaged and delivered to your door step.

As a follow up from my previous post "The girl who killed her daughter" i must say that personally i kept clinching my fist because my son is about the same age as her late daughter and from watching this video it was so certainly obvious, that innocent girl could have been saved on so many levels. That beautiful soul would have been alive if we would for once be able to SEPARATE our faith from REALITY......yes mental illness is a reality!!

 

We failed this mother, we failed her family, we failed her dead daughter ....  There was a thread and NOBODY took proper actions:

 

1. SHE WAS RAPED but she told her sister and nothing was done, so she blamed herself for going there classic case of SELF ACCUSATION.

THIS IS INCREDIBLY HEART BREAKING AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE: SHE NEEDS TO BE MENTALLY AND PSYCHOLOGICALLY EVALUATED ASAP!!!

It got so bad that at a point, i started second guessing myself "was i really doing the right thing" "was it even worth it" . But i was DETERMINED to SERVE GOD and LIVE RIGHT and nobody was gonna to TALK ME OUT of my NEW FOUND LIFE.....
 
When the opportunity came for me to relocate, i held back for over a year because i was scared of the UNKNOWN and most importantly, i didn't just want to up and leave. So after various consultations and not to sound TOO SPIRITUAL much prayers i had peace, so i packed up my essentials and LEFT NAIJA.

So after i landed, i located a young, friendly and most importantly MIXED church. One were i could easily integrate myself, worship without feeling out of place of course MEET PEOPLE!! Yes oh lets not forget that this sister is still SINGLE. Friends taught i was CRAZY spending all my free time in church and not HANGING OUT WITH THEM don't get me wrong am not against those who do but at that pint in my life, it wasn't my PRIORITY.

MY RESOLUTIONS...PART 2 (MRS SERIES)

My dear SINGLE SISTERS, there is nothing absolutely wrong in wanting a GREAT GUY, one who will take care, honor, nurture, respect, love and eventually MARRY YOU. But after dating for a while and it wasn't working i decided to take a step back and INVEST more in myself spiritually, emotionally,mentally, physiologically, intellectually etc

I was determined to sort of REBRAND and REDISCOVER myself and like my mom will say, i had a ONE MAN MEETING with myself. Thus making some very DRASTIC and BRUTAL changes in my life and caring less about the consequences, i didnt care who got hurt in the process.. YES!! i became SELFISH, i was DONE trying to please people.

I just couldn't continue doing the same thing, hoping the results would be different, MEN!!! @ this point i cared less.

I made some RESOLUTIONS and some of them INCLUDED:

I am so overwhelmed but grateful for the feedback i have gotten since my last post, honestly guys am humbled. 

So for those who do not know me please allow me RE-INTRODUCE  myself......My name is Kenechukwu Mitchell nee Okoye, born and raised in Lagos Nigeria.  I live and worked in Lagos up until March 2017 when i PARKED UP and relocated to the United States. This BIG MOVE happened because i felt Nigeria didn't have much to offer me anymore, after so many deliberations and planning i moved.  I moved up here in March, met hubby in June and got married in November of the same year and then had my beautiful son in August of the next year, YEAP!! my life has been on a very fast lane since i got here.

But lets back roll a bit, you see been a naija single lady in her 30`s with a nice job and tasteful apartment but NOT MARRIED😏 Aunty you have not achieved anything oh!! So before my BIG MOVE i decided to make some VERY BRUTAL AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE changes in my life. 

Aside from going through a THOROUGH SPIRITUAL CLEANSING thanks to my spiritual mentor PASTOR KOLAPO BELLO  helping me purge my mind,emotions and focusing more on my walk with God. 

I wanted something different, for so long i had tried ON MY OWN to SETTLE DOWN but hey!! THIS GIRL WAS STILL VERY SINGLE.

MY MISTAKES.... PART 1(MRS SERIES)

Dating for me started pretty late because if you were brought up by my TEACHER MOM who is not ASHAMED or EMBARRASSED to disciple you ANYWHERE and ANYHOW😄 you would understand that you should always be in line.

But despite all the love and attention i got from home been the only daughter in the midst of 4 BROTHERS, Lol i still craved for some kinda attention from the opposite sex but looking back on some of the people i let into my life from back then, i feel very disappointed but growing up in Nigeria and been in your 30's AND NOT MARRIED...

You just tend to let people who do not even have any business being in your life STAY!!

So what were some of theses MISTAKES i made in my RELATIONSHIPS...
