MY RESOLUTIONS...PART 2 (MRS SERIES)

My dear SINGLE SISTERS, there is nothing absolutely wrong in wanting a GREAT GUY, one who will take care, honor, nurture, respect, love and eventually MARRY YOU. But after dating for a while and it wasn't working i decided to take a step back and INVEST more in myself spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physiologically, intellectually etc

I was determined to sort of REBRAND and REDISCOVER myself and like my mom will say, i had a ONE MAN MEETING with myself. Thus making some very DRASTIC and BRUTAL changes in my life and caring less about the consequences, i didnt care who got hurt in the process.. YES!! i became SELFISH, i was DONE trying to please people.

I just couldn't continue doing the same thing, hoping the results would be different, MEN!!! @ this point i cared less.

I made some RESOLUTIONS and some of them INCLUDED:

1. Deleting numbers, especially those "HELLO, HI ITS BEEN A WHILE " numbers.

2. Changed churches, YES!! i deliberately wanted a church that would challenge my walk with God and make HOLINESS key.

3. Changed FRIENDS, i consciously reduced my circle of friends and associates.

4. I became more involved in working for God, i thank God for my spiritual mentor and his lovely wife for the constant encouragement and prayers.

5. I became answerable to my spiritual parents because i had seen POSITIVE CHANGES in my life and i had PEACE, so i wanted a neutral person who could check on me and make sure i was always ON TRACK.

6. I wasn't afraid to ask any POTENTIAL TOASTERS, what exactly they wanted and what their intentions were and then pay attention to the things "UNSAID" rather than the things "SAID" .

7. Run away from "LETS SEE WERE THIS GOES" kinda brothers, they are a recipe for "TIME WASTERS".

8. I started investing more in my self intellectually, taking online certifications, consciously making myself happy, studying books and of course my bible.

9.I changed my PRAYER POINTS..yes!! i wasnt afraid to pray for a man who was financially READY, that wasnt my number 1 prayer point but SISTERLY! it was on my top 5. A hard working financially stable, God fearing man is not a bad idea after all.

10. I refused to put myself under any form of pressure, i TOTALLY and ABSOLUTELY made conscious efforts not to see myself as the wife of any one who says HI....

11. Decided to do it the OLD FASHION WAY, well yes! most of us MILLENNIAL SINGLES don't let the man do the CHASING. We make it way too easy for them, let him put in the work at least let him PROVE himself.

(MORE DETAILS WILL BE FEATURED IN MY UPCOMING BOOK)
