Sam, or 'Success Kid' as he became known, was used to celebrate anything from great exam results to finding an extra doughnut in the packet.
His little face was Photoshopped on to everything and everything. But he's grown up quite a bit since his heyday back in 2007.
In a photograph posted online, he can be seen posing with a cheeky grin next to his mum, who took the original image that went viral.
