Singer cum actor, Falz, is definitely in
his element this year as he has added another feather to his cap by
bagging the prestigious African Movie Viewer’s Choice Award in just a
brief stint with acting. He won in the category for the Best Act in a
comedy, movie or TV series for his role in Jenifa’s Dairy.
The rapper who is also a comic character told Saturday Beats
that another talent he has which many people are unaware of is his
football skills, adding that if he was not an entertainer, he would be a
professional footballer by now.
Falz said that he could still pursue his dreams in football as ‘age’ is still on his side.
“Well, apart from music and law, if there’s something I want to do
professionally, it is to play football. I like sports so much especially
football. I believe so much in my skills as well and I think I am
capable of playing professionally; the problem is that Super Eagles was
supposed to sign me but they missed their chance.
They missed their
opportunity but it’s so unfortunate for them.” he said.
