So i walk into my living room after a beautiful Sunday service and my phone rings....Wow! its my friend from way back and with excitement in my voice we exchange pleasantries but its all cut short the moment i asked how now? so what have you been up too?...clearing her voice she says "Babe na wa oh! i heard one 50+ years old woman was robbed, beaten and raped on her way home some days ago and the most painful part is unfortunately she didn't make it.
I slumped on my couch and my head began to spin, i immediately felt like the ground had been ripped out from under my feet. This is the 3rd case of domestic battery/rape i had heard off in the past 2 weeks, I WAS DONE
I ran, grabbed a pen and paper and all the emotions just came through.....Questions,Senerios,Pictures,Expressions and Anger!
-Why do men think that the reason God gave them muscles and that "Thing" in between their legs was to destroy and send women to their early grave?
-Why is it so difficult to understand when a woman says no?
A close friend, who works with a relief organization in affiliation with LASU revealed some very disturbing facts to me:
-Most of these girls are between the ages of 5-17 years old.
-The monsters who carry out these dispeakable acts, have uninterrupted access to these children e.g Neighbors,Relatives,Close family friends etc.
-Their families dont want to press charges because of fear of stigma and security.
The most hurtful thing, is these men get married at the end of the day to one who knows NOTHING about his past but will bear the consequences.....Girls lets learn to ask questions!
Well, i got some advice for you with the TWISTED and DISGRUNTLED mind who thinks because you are physically stronger, you can take advantage of any woman and go SCOT FREE! They might not be able to fight back but be forced to live with the scares for the rest of their lives.....Hmmmm! remember though there is a God whose vengeance you will not escape.
Isaiah 3:11 says it all:
*How terrible it will be for the wicked...Disaster is headed their way because what they did with their hands will be repaid to them.
*Woe to the wicked..it will go badly with him , for what he deserves will be done to him.
*But the wicked are doomed for they will get exactly what they deserve.
